Phill owns vin 6772, pet name ‘Sorbet’, a November 1981 car, with grey interior, grooved hood and automatic transmission.
It came with a comprehensive maintenance record from PJ Grady in New York, and was purchased by Phill and imported to the UK in February 2005. Vin 6772 was made UK legal and MOT’d the same dayit was collected by Phill from Chatham Docks!
The car has been in regular use since coming to the UK, and done over 20,000 miles already and has proved to be very reliable, as well as being a smooth and comfortable cruiser, appearing in numerous magazines and newspapers due to publicity work with the band Neon Neon (Gruff Rhys from Super Furry Animals), plus featuring in Retro Cars Magazine with a large buyers guide on the DeLorean in 2006.
