Owners Rides – Claire Usher

Claire’s car, pet name ‘Flopsy’, is vin 2292, a black interior/gas flap model with manual transmission built in July 1981.
It was imported to the UK from California by Claire in June 2002, having been bought off Ebay as a ‘spares or repairs’ wreck for less then £2900.
The car has been a rolling restoration ever since, and will be treated to a body-off frame restoration sometime in the near future.
Claire became Treasurer of the DeLorean Owners Club UK in November 2008, and has been an enthusiastic member for many years. She also overseas the large Midlands area, which has many active members and regularly attend car shows and events.
