Fife Flying club open day - 29th July
Posted by: jwrayth - 07 Jun 2017, 09:27 - Forum: Scotland - No Replies

We've been invited to attend this event alongside the Edinburgh Tesla Dealership. Bit of a "Wings" theme, if you follow it. Unfortunately I myself may not be able to attend due to ongoing issues with 4494, but if anyone is interested I'll get you set up with contact information to sort out the details.

It's on Sat 29th of July 10am - 4pm

Open day DeLorean Europe 9-10 September 2017
Posted by: Future - 06 Jun 2017, 18:16 - Forum: International Events - Replies (1)

On Saterday 9th of September 2017 DeLorean Europe will exist 15 years.

There will be an open house that day ( free ). There wil be a tour offcourse, look behind the scenes ,and there will be a dyno outside ( €35 ) to discover the performences of our DeLorean.

On Sunday 10th September there will be a Club day organised by the DeLorean Club of Netherlands( €20 ).

On Sunday the come together will be at 10:30 DeLorean Europe with coffee.

There will be a small tour for those who missed out on Saterday, followed by a drive through the countryside of the beautiful West-Friesland.

There will be a surprise underway, lunch is previewed at 13:30. Around 16:00 we arrive back at DeLorean Europe, where we sign of with a coffee.

According to my knowledge the €20 should cover the lunch.

There is a list of B&B's in the airea of Venhuizen, but history showes these are booked quite fast. So dont wait to long.

I am not the organizer and not responsble for any translation errors (nor spelling) that occur in this post but we do plan to attend.

We will be there through the whole event.

Greetings Steven & Rina.

Any upcoming events in the Daventry/Northamptonshire area.
Posted by: GDTDMC12 - 05 Jun 2017, 14:03 - Forum: DOC National Events, Car shows, AGM's and others - Replies (2)

I've had a request from a follower of my DeLorean Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/timemachine16606/) for her 10 year old son to see a DeLorean "in the flesh", he currently is obsessed by his model DeLorean car. Can anyone advise of any upcoming car meetings in that area so that they can go along to see a DeLorean, or better still even give a quick ride to? Please reply back here or message me and I can pass on the details.

Thanks.

Gareth.

Win 2 tickets to Knockhill - 4th June
Posted by: oilman - 31 May 2017, 12:53 - Forum: Parts Suppliers - No Replies

Hi guys

Opie Oils have a pair of tickets to Knockhill Racing Circuit up for grabs, so if you and a guest fancy spending the day watching the Super Touring Car Event, then you may be in luck!

To be in with a chance of winning these tickets, all you have to do is drop us a PM titled Super Touring. In the message, please include your full name, the name of your guest, your address, telephone number and email address - this will make sure that we can get in touch with you as quickly as possible after the winner has been selected.

Please only apply if you are able to attend on Sunday 4th June, as it would be a shame for the tickets to go to waste

Should you be the lucky winner of these tickets, your guest and yourself will meet a member of the David Sleigh Race Team at the gates at 10:30AM on Sunday 4th June. They will then provide you with your passes and bring you accross to their race awning, skipping the waiting lines. Here, you can meet this awesome racing team, hang out for the day and have some lunch whilst watching one of the best events of the season. The return of the iconic Super Touring thoroughbreds proved a great hit in 2016, and it will be even more special this year with Touring cars from the 80s and 90s head lining the grid. The thunderous Group A Sierras and of course the 2 litre BTCC cars from 92 onwards will also be there. All in all, it's going to be a pretty action packed day!

You can find full details of the event HERE, and David Sleigh Racings page HERE. Please feel free to drop us a line too if you need any further information, we're in the office Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5:30 on 01209 202 944 or via email on sales@opieoils.co.uk.

As the event is for this weekend, get those messages in quick, the winner will be picked at random and contacted by Friday 2nd at the latest. Best of luck guys!

Cheers,

Oilman

  Painted Delorean
Posted by: Unsavoury - 28 May 2017, 23:37 - Forum: General Discussions on the DOC / Car / Company / JZD - Replies (7)

II know. Not a good start. But as you lot are in the know I was wondering how easy it is to take a painted Delorean back to just steel? I've seen a reasonably priced one but it's red (and seemingly been for sale forever) and I was wondering if it's cheap enough that I can bring it back to greatness or if I should give it a wide birth
