Just seen a Delorean on BBC1 the One Show. They are travelling along the north coast of NI all week... and arriving at giants causeway on Friday.

This is something that I will need to do.

I've had a search on here and links are unfortunately broken.

As some time has passed since foglight conversions were first mentioned here - what is the latest on carrying out this conversion?

1981 DeLorean DMC-12 in stainless steel with grey interior. Comes equipped with a manual transmission, power windows and with solid wheels. Excellent original blue plate California car for restoration. For $15,750 (about £12000).

Hi guys - I was a member some 10 years ago - thought I would have had a money left over after my new build but a conservatory added to the house put pay to that but now I'm in the market for a Car - live in Pembrokeshire and had a drive in Stuarts car a good feeble years ago.

i assume you have seen screamin yellow up again...any thoughts...i am thinking of bidding...she needs saving (fire damage)

but if i did...would be looking back to stainless...

eninge likely would keep, not my first choice but if it works...

again not my first choice for car, but projects are scarce these days...

certainly looks saveable...and a few 2nd hand parts, dash, screen rear finishers to get driveable, then slowly restore other items...

what do you think?

I have a T panel, but a previous owner drilled a hole in it - off centre, and practised some panel beating on it!

It will be VERY expensive to get fixed. So if anyone has a T section - let me know.

I'd also like to get a new hood - it's a flat/ungroved hood with no  gas flap.

I really need to post more on here - I use FB far too often, the downside being that Delorean owners are not exactly local.

I've owned my project car vin 11789 since January and work is progressing .... watch this space as I intend uploading photos showing my progress.  (is there any limit on the number of photos I can upload?)

oh ... I live in Cardiff .... anybody else nearby?
