Wedding hire - Liverpool. 18 September
Posted by: TBRM - 22 Jun 2015, 12:09 - Forum: TV/Film Hire and Work Requests - Replies (3)

Hi All

A colleague of mine is getting married on Friday 18 September in the North West and is looking for someone with a Delorean to take her husband to be, Adam, from his home in Wallasey, Merseyside to Thornton Manor which is also Merseyside (about 11 miles). I would do it myself but Kent to Merseyside on a Friday is a little bit far. If anyone is available to do it could you PM me please?

thanks

Richard

Hi
there's a local car boot sale, and one of the traders has been selling for some time a selection of stainless steel nuts bolts etc.
Can anybody on here offer advice on sizes/threads of common fixings on the D please?

Looking through all the last threads with regards to insurance I havn't seen anything mentioned for a while.

Who are most DeLorean owners using now?

How do prices compare?

Any input would be great,

All the best,

For Sale: VIN 4463, Grey, Manual, Surrey
Posted by: Requiem_Metal - 18 Jun 2015, 15:28 - Forum: DeLorean Cars or Parts For Sale or Wanted - Replies (9)

Offered for sale at £35,000 is our beautiful 1981 DeLorean DMC-12. The car is an October 1981 build, with grey interior, manual transmission, and with the much sought after grooved bonnet.

Imported from California to the UK in September 2014, the car was restored over a period of 7 months and is in stunning condition inside and out, as can be seen from the pictures. It passed it's first UK MOT in May 2015 and has just been registered with the DVLA. The stainless bodywork has been re-brushed to showroom standard by leading DeLorean marque specialist, Chris Nicholson.

VIN: 4463
UK registration number: SVR 599W.
Current mileage: c.35,000 miles

Being from a dry state, the chassis is in excellent, rust free condition. The engine starts on the button, has ample power output thanks to the unnecessary catalytic converter being removed, and the refurbished brakes perform well. The doors open and close smoothly, and will open to full extension without manual assistance.

Please see below for a full list of work performed on the car, and the dropbox link for an extensive number of photographs detailing all areas of the vehicle.

BTTF DeLorean hire for Wedding in 2016
Posted by: richardv - 17 Jun 2015, 23:20 - Forum: TV/Film Hire and Work Requests - Replies (7)

Hi all, I'm looking for any details regarding a Back to the Future DeLorean for my wedding which will take place on 18th june 2016 at Keele Hall in Staffordshire.

I have hopefully already secured a standard D for my best man to arrive in, but I, the groom, am looking for a BTTF one to arrive in epic style!

If anyone knows of anyone that might be available to do this for me, and prices and terms, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
