Delorean write-up in Septembers "Classic and Sports Car"
Posted by: 88mph - 25 Aug 2015, 08:38 - Forum: General Discussions on the DOC / Car / Company / JZD - Replies (3)

Might of been mentioned but there is a 3 page feature on old employees and the twin-turbo'd engine.
It says that, "Michael Hickey (owner) says the standard car/engine is good for 168bhp"
How do you get this power? What have you got to do?
Article just mentions removing Cats. Is it just urban myth?

  Fitting new polybush????????
Posted by: 88mph - 24 Aug 2015, 19:07 - Forum: 5 - Suspension / Steering - Replies (7)

I bought new polybushes from Super Flex.
Sold as Delorean bushes, but they don't fit.
Miss selling or am I doing something wrong?

Walton Bridge Breakfast Club

Sunday 6th September 2015

08:00hrs - 12:00hrs (approx)

Walton Lane Riverside Car Park,
Walton-on-Thames,
Surrey, KT12 1QW (ish)

Google Maps Link...

Can it really be that time again...? Well, yes it is!!!

The Walton Bridge Breakfast Club is rumbling into town again and it needs YOU to make it as exciting and as interesting as it has always been so far!

Each meet just keeps getting better (even with the rain...) so please do come along and get involved with your car or just come along and have a peek to see what the WBBC is all about! Without you lot this meet would be nothing so thanks a whole bundle, you make this meet what it is and I really cannot ask for more than that (I mean that sincerely, I really do)...

Anyhow, enough of all that poppy-cock!

Walton Bridge Breakfast Club is back YET AGAIN and I want ALL (and I do mean all) you wonderful people to come down in your equally wonderful old/unique/special motors...! You really do need to come along if you're into old/classic/retro/exotic/unique/rusty vehicles...

Come along to the peaceful riverside in Walton-on-Thames for some good old fried grub (Nothing but the best in fried fayre is served here folks), a mug of hot coffee and a chance to have a look at a superb and varied selection of wonderful classic and exotic vehicles of all types...

This is just a little, local meet so all makes and types of classic and exotic vehicle are more than welcome to attend and that is what I encourage... Variation is the key here so please don't be shy (don't ever underestimate what you've got)! Cars, trucks, tractors, buses, motorbikes and boats (we are right by the river!!!) are all welcome if that's what you've got!!!

Please be aware that although the car park is pretty large other members of the public will be using it also so it is all based on a first come, first gets a space rule... This is why I've started the meet from 08:00hrs...!!!

Please drive carefully and responsibly in the car park as other people will be carelessly wandering around in there...!!! Safety is paramount so caution is the key... Keep your eyes peeled for people on foot as they won't keep their eyes peeled for you...!!! I cannot stress the importance of being sensible in the car park enough...

Bring your vehicle, bring your family, bring your friends (bring people waiting at the bus-stop if you want to!) and don't forget to bring a camera (or your watercolours!!!)...

So, please do spread the word far and wide and let everyone (and I mean everyone!) know about this meet as I want this to be another ruddy good one... The Walton Bridge Breakfast Club is here and it's here for people just like you!

See you there (I hope!)...

  SIJ 1081
Posted by: Dangermouse - 19 Aug 2015, 19:07 - Forum: General Discussions on the DOC / Car / Company / JZD - Replies (14)

I found these on Instagram last night - the first pics I have seen of SIJ 1081. What happened to it?

A RHD, presumably a W-H car close in series to 1082,3 and 4

These pics posted by a Mike Haynes at what looks like a Lada or FSO dealership in 19??, but I don’t think he was the owner

A quick check of the DVLA shows

1079 - De Lorean
1080 - Toyota
1081 - Not Found
1082 - De Lorean
1083 - De Lorean
1084 - DeLorean
1085 - Not Found

so presumably one that has been re-registered?

Garbarino commercial from 2011 with Doc Emmet Brown
Posted by: GDTDMC12 - 19 Aug 2015, 11:06 - Forum: Back To The Future - No Replies

I couldn't find this as having been posted before so for those that like BTTF references here's an advertisement from 2011 for Garbarino stores, based in Uruguay and Argentina, with Christopher Lloyd as Doc Emmet Brown. I found it quite amusing.

  Delorean BTTF Diecast Model HELP!!!!!!
Posted by: rlaw22 - 17 Aug 2015, 08:36 - Forum: Back To The Future - Replies (7)

Firstly Hi my name is Russell I am new to the forum and a massive Delorean fan but sadly I am unable to afford the real thing.

By way of compensation I have an extensive collection of Delorean diecast and other models some 86 in total but there's one model out there that is currently becoming a pain to find, this one:

I have tried ebay cross the world and even gone back to the manufacture without success. I am hoping that a member of this forum has the model and would be prepared to sell it, if you do please please PM me.

Thank you in anticipation.
