Scanning the eBay last week I see that BTTF stuff is reaching new levels of expense-we should have bought them years back when they were expensive but not that expensive!

  VIN 10989 In Grimsby, Lincolnshire
Posted by: MIKE1979 - 02 Oct 2015, 21:04 - Forum: Members Cars - Replies (12)

Less than 12 hours to go ....
Like many, this has been a dream for a very long time and in the morning all my Xmas's have come at once.

Grey, manual, Dec '81 (reg'd Jan '82)
Vin 10989

Thankyou for all the advice from forum members since I first posted several month's ago, and a huge thankyou to Mike Holtby who firstly allowed me to prize this one from his clutches and secondly for getting the car right.
At least you can get to grips with your painted one now!

Pictures to follow soon.

BTTF DeLorean Hire - 21st Oct - SW London
Posted by: PLBaer - 02 Oct 2015, 17:23 - Forum: Back To The Future - No Replies

Hello all,
I realise many/most DC12's will be booked up on this date, but please let me know if there are any left for evening of 21st Oct! Preferably a BTTF replica. It is for a display outside a small venue in Putney, SW London, between 6pm-10pm. We are hosting a small private BTTF party in support of MJF Foundation for Parkinsons Research. If anyone willing to lend the car then they have free entry to this party and free drinks etc, plus of course all for a good cause!
Many thanks in advance,
Phil

Good Evening,

I am contacting you from 360 Play. We are a family entertainment centre company with centres in Leicester, Stevenage and Milton Keynes.

We were wondering if any of your owners would like to come and display their cars outside our centres on 21st October 2015. I'm sure you already know the significance of this date. We are running a Back to the Future promotion to celebrate it.

Both Leicester and Stevenage are on big Leisure sites with high footfall.

We can offer your members free passes as a thank-you for supporting our promotion.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Best Wishes

Billie

Ok so I have been very quiet....

I have had a mad year with work family and cars!

I have a son due Smile October the 28th.... His mum doesn't seem too impressed that I'd like him to arrive on the 21st...

I'd never forget his birthday that's for sure....

Maybe I should call him Marty?
