Re our conversation this morning. I am looking to hire a De lorean car like the one from the Back to the Future films (with gadgets/additions) to take some publicity photos with Peter Snow who is presenting a 10 part series on radio 4 called Back to the Future with high profile guests.


We would like it in central London in the morning of Thursday 24th September when Alan Johnson MP and Robert Peston will be our guests (and sit in it too!).

Looking through a classic car club Facebook site, I came across a video shot on the day of the Ormskirk Motorfest which included a part featuring a few of the 'parade' laps, and my DMC was shown-it was subtly altered to below! :lol:

Just noticed an advert in the Scottish Daily Mail for Callan's the local Auction house, when I saw one of the lots entered I couldn't believe my eyes, I often walk up the town through a small housing estate and often see a Fiat Panda car parked outside a row of shops, what always catched my eye was the number plate on the Panda AG 1 which seemed it should be on a Prestige car. A lady I knew told me it belongs to an old man who had the number plate passed down to him and had registered it on the Panda.

Going back to the ad at the auction house the one and same reg plate was up for auction with an WOPPING estimate of between £60,000 to £90,000 so if AG IS YOUR INITIAL LOG ON TO THE AUCTION HOUSE
