Firstly, our apologies for the delay in publication. Unfortunately due to Eddie have computer issues that hopefully will be sorted soon this issue has been delayed. However it has now been printed and has been posted so should be with everyone by the weekend. We are aiming to try and get back on track for the next issue with (fingers crossed) aiming for a September publication. We are in need of a few articles though, so please anything you have done/fixed/broke/ then please put a few words on paper along with a few pics to me and we can get it in to print.

Rear quarter window seal |

Previous owner window seal repair failed a few weeks ago and I've pulled the panel to remove the glass, prep the panel for refit etc...
I cannot get the seal to hold to the corners properly at all. The sika 291i is just not holding it, and even with Ed suggesting tape to hold it whilst curing all I've ended up with is a mess.
Can anyone recommend a process for fitting? I will have to just skip the seal at this rate. Four times I've tried and all have failed.

Email received - anyone free to attend?
Hi, I wonder whether you can help me at all?
My name is Leigh and I work at a day centre in Poole supporting adults with a disability.
Each year we have a theme day to give something back to the local community who support us and provide a fun day for the service users, staff, carers and families. Now in our eighth year the event is for many the highlight of the year and well attended.
I wondered whether any of your members would be available and willing to come and support us displaying their cars at our event. I would really love to have a Delorean on show for people to see one of these amazing cars. The vehicles would be in a secure area throughout the event.
I'm afraid we would be unable to pay anyone for attending but I promise they would be warmly welcomed and we would be able to arrange refreshments on the day. Our theme day this year is being held on Friday 10th August.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
Leigh

After a few weeks of waiting for Adrian Flux to come back with my agreed valuation, they have finally come back with a rather crap valuation of £29,500 !!!!
I took perfect photos showing all angles they required, the car looked excellent.
Only 15,500 miles showing on the clock in the pics.....
I asked for £35,000 - thing is, I know I couldn’t replace mine for £29,500!
I sent them a list of works carried out too!!
Oh I’m so disappointed.
My policy was £190 fully comp in case you wondered

Hi All,
In need of a bit of help please.
I have been working on the stuttering under load problem on my car.
Good news is that I have completely fixed that problem. Turned out to be injectors and CPR.
New injectors and CPR sorted it. I also replaced the metering head while I was at it as it had been replaced in the States with a B28F Volvo unit by PO.
I got the CO set at 1.5%. Lambda disconnected.
Car starts perfect from cold.
Car would not start from hot without lots of cranking. Even if only left for a minute.
I suspected the special t new style fuel pump check valve (as the similar unit from DMCH has had check valve issues). I installed a brass inline check valve.
Problem was still there.
Next likely culprit fuel accumulator. One item I had replaced 16 years ago so possible it had failed again. Upon testing it had a slight leak.
New accumulator fitted.
Problem is still there.
I have found that when the key is turned the first time to position 2 the fuel pump does not prime. Subsequent turning to position 2 always primes the pump. So if I rock the key to position 2 and back to 1, back to 2 and the fuel pump primes and then to position 3 and car starts perfectly.
Anybody have any ideas on the likely fault? Maybe RPM relay?
Many thanks
Nick H

Click-crunch-lurch noise from rear |

On Saturday whist out in the car, a noise and an accompanying sudden vibration developed one the car. I've no idea what it is and have yet to investigate. The noise, which is like a strained metallic click/crunch type noise happens when going round roundabouts. The click comes when turning left, then the crunch happens when immediately turning right again, except the crunch is accompanied by a corresponding "lurch" feeling of the rear end. It's quite disconcerting. I'm wondering if it's trailing arm related, as this is what it feels like. Anyone had this before in the past at all?
