Hi folks - as per the title really - am on the lookout for a decent secondhand stock exhaust silencer as mine has cracked through in several places on the rear.  I have welded it in the past but my present stripdown has shown that the crack has run again and it is now cracking around the rear rivets too.  Later ones preferable but anything considered!  I'm near Derby but can pay any courier fees or pop to collect if it's reasonably near.

Hi folks,

I am planning to get several parts yellow zinc plated as per original so thought I would send off a job lot 'whilst I'm at it'.

So - does a definitive list exist of all the yellow zinc plate bits on the car?  Many bits I have are badly rusted and I can't tell!

From what I know:

Horn brackets
Lower radiator brackets
Front fascia central support bracket
Fuel filler cap (?)
Rear OEM exhaust mounts *
Water pump brackets inside chassis box section
Trailing arm bolt retaining plates
Main crank pulley
Steering Rack brackets
Anti-roll-bar brackets

(* I Had these powder coated a couple of years ago so won't be doing them. this time)

Does anybody know of any other bits before I send a heap of stuff off?  And any reccomendations as to where to get bits done please?

Hey everyone, my name is Alan Silvestri (yes, it’s my real name, no, I’m not the BTTF music composer) I don’t own a Delorean yet, but it’s my dream car and I’m saving and keeping my eyes open for it.

I’m originally from Italy but I’ve been living in the UK for almost 2 years now, I’m based in Winchester, Hampshire and loving it here

I’m a huge back to the future fanatic and that’s how I came to love the car, that said, I really love it as just a car and not only for its role in the movie.

I hope you don't mind but I got your email addresses from the Deloreans owners website and have a request I was hoping you could help with. 

My husband and I run a week long camp for adults with disabilities at a campsite called 'Woodlarks' in Farnham, Surrey. Our camp, Trekkers Camp, runs this year from 25th May - 1st June. Every year we cater for about 30 persons with disabilities and have a theme that runs through the week. This year our theme is 'Back to the Future'. 

As part of the activities through the week we would very much love to get a Delorean to come up onto the site so the campers can get to see one. 

Are there Delorean owners local to Farnham that I could be put in contact with, with a view to seeing if anyone is available to come up with their vehicle?
