You know, I renewed my insurance last week. Before i committed, I phoned them up to enquire why i seemed to be getting charged more than others are clearly being charged for essentially the same thing under similar circumstances, except for the fact i'm older than other said parties and have been an owner for longer. Rubbish... the ones built in '82 were, after a year of production, put together better than early '81's
Plus there's less 82/83 DeLoreans out there making them more scarce... but that's the first time i've heard of it affecting insurance premiums!

Ah, but manufactured in December 81... 'cos 16723 was made on the 18th January '82

11477 is a Jan ‘82......... vin seems off compared your guys.......

Remember that 16723 is really 11723, so Jan 82 still seems right. Probably means that 11477 is before the 18th?
