looks a nice car. Its a pity that the £-$ ratio has slipped recently, making imports into the UK dearer for the foreseeable future.

I don't know where the 1979 date comes from!
it was made during Jan 81, one of only a few survivors from that early batch.
Its already several K over what I think its worth. A FULL MAJOR RESTORATION…..every single bit you look at needs fixing.
Just my opinion of course.

Mine's WAY better than that, was several K cheaper but even mine needs a full restoration. I'd wager that's a £6k car and needs £15k+ on it. Minimum. Still worth saving.

My point exactly Dan. It should be saved, but I recon you could spend £20K on it and at least a years near full time work.
It you took it to an expert to sort out, the bill could easily be double that.
I feel for the person who imported it……but having seen plenty of close up photo's of it…..its the worst condition car I've ever seen…...….apart from these???

I've seen worse sold for $9K about right I recon. Much better than the latest Beverly Hills one for twice as much!
