Whilst I'm sure lots of work has been done to make this car road legal and road worthy I would strongly suggest that any potential buyer has a very good look at the chassis on this car. From seeing a picture off the engine bay I would suspect that it may be this car: http://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981-...c-5104.htm as per this thread: http://deloreans.co.uk/forum/showthread....997&page=5
Though I now note it's not on Ebay.

Well spotted Chris, there is obviously a dent on the right door but the seller is stating the bodywork is straight.  What else aren't they telling us? That frame needed some work. Plus what's with that carpet?

Well spotted indeed, Chris.

I didn't see an engine pic, but I knew those carpets looked familiar Smile

That is my car, a good car and seriously for sale. i am open to offers, and have dropped the price to £24,000. It runs well and the chassis is excellent. I am not sure if i should strip it back to stainless and then try to sell it?

I am New to Delorean, but have a keen interest in cars, Porsche air cooled in particular.

I believe he will be lowering the reserve slightly at the weekend, so it is almost fully on the market.

Now on an Ebay auction: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DeLorean-DMC-1...SwKfVXD-ZR

I have asked the seller for more pictures especially of the frame and apparently the car is 'at the upholsterer' but I did get a dark photo of the underside and they are keeping quiet about any frame repairs, If you are bidding please check to see if it has been done correctly.

I find it funny that the passenger window hasn't moved between California and Scotland, but the seller states 'everything works as it should'
