I've been looking at exhaust wrapping my DMCs manifolds, mainly to keep heat down in the engine bay, my cars de-catted so would the wrap have any adverse effects? Read a few stories of cast manifolds cracking, and cars bursting into flames due to 'hot spots' forming on cast manifolds (not DeLoreans), any thoughts? 8)

basically pointless. It stops them radiating heat so they get hotter when wrapped. DeLorean engine bay is open and ventilated beautifully by the louvers, there isn't a heat issue.

Would have thought it would have been difficult to wrap them as well, not a lot of room around the manifold branches if memory serves correct.
