1982 Black Auto - £42,000
#1
Strange one this
https://m.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C944079

Pictures are of a Grey Manual..... description is for a black Auto....
Description seems similar to the £40k Antrim “Kuwait” car that was up for sale a little while ago.

There is a possibility its this one: http://deloreans.co.uk/for-sale/ at the top that's a pre listing. The car is not registered yet as we are just in the process of getting this done. However if it is 42k is way above the guideline I have been giving the owner.

I’ll look forward to seeing what the price is on that one...... unless it is this £42k one...

I hope it's not as it's not what has been advised, however they may be swayed by the other listing at 45k. I had advised low 30's to sell it but I'm aware of a few people who are after an auto and it is a very clean car underneath (as you can imagine)

If it's the Coventry motor museum DeLorean up for sale, this is the VERY FIRST DeLorean I ever sat in. Back in about 2004-2005, not long after I moved down to live in England, I went to the museum for the first time. I just hung around that car and took pictures more than i looked at any other car. The security guy patrolling the museum must have taken mental note of this, as towards the end of their opening hours, once it was quiet enough, he approached me and pointed out that he'd noticed my interest in the DeLorean, and proceeded to ask if I wanted to have a sit in it! I was overjoyed!

...but I have to say, even despite the rose-tinted goggles, I could see the car was rough, cosmetically at least. Parts were missing or hanging off, and some of the paneling was dented, including a door. I've no idea how the car looks now, up close, compared to back then.

Is it the case that the car has gone back into private ownership since back then?

It was always in Private Ownership and owned by a club member, who lent it to the museum.  He re-claimed it a few years ago and I lost track of it after that.

It's had extensive (and very good) work done to it mainly by the museum to get it to a reasonable standard. The full list is on the web-site. It's just being made road legal and registered (never was UK registered) before being sold.

Yep, from the 'for sale' description:
I acquired the car in 1987 in Kuwait. It was imported into the UK in 1988 and then kept at Coventry Transport Museum from early 1990 until early 2018. In 2016 and 2017 it was extensively restored with many new parts including the following work:
