DeLorean Key blank (1 key system) - Outatime - 13 Mar 2007 Anyone know where I could get these cheap in UK?? I don't need those with the DMC plastic handle, a standard metal key that will fit the D will be fine. The old one I got got bent.... now it's bent back to the right shape, but in danger of breaking inside the ignition if I continue to use it. - Pilot25dmc - 13 Mar 2007 I brought my key into my local locksmith and he had a blank on the shelf. I am sure any "decent" locksmith on the highstreet will be able to do this. Cost me £5 for the blank and the cutting. - NickT - 13 Mar 2007 I think they are from a montego/ rover based car. NickT. - Tourettes Tony - 13 Mar 2007 How comes my car has only one key, bit strange that :? TT - Paul O'Malley - 14 Mar 2007 Rover SD1 has the same steering colum and lock. - Outatime - 16 Mar 2007 Thanks for the reply guys! So if I get a key blank for the Rover SD1... it will be a direct replacement key blank? |
