Clutch Slave Cylinder - dogs_bolx - 16 Feb 2012 Hi guys, does any have or know a place where I can get hold of a Slave Clutch Cylinder as reasonable cost? Is it possible to repair seals on an old one? Many thanks in advance. Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder - Chris Williams - 16 Feb 2012 Dave Howarth (contact details in mag) or I'm told DMCH reproductions are good value, either through Ed in Holland or Houston direct. Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder - dogs_bolx - 26 Mar 2012 Hi Guys, I got the Clutch Slave cylinder and saw a guide to fitting on the net a while back. I think it was a tech note from delorean.com, but its not there any more, I can't find anything about it. Would anyone happen to have it or tell me the procedure for changing it in the easiest way possible? Many thanks, Martin Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder - dogs_bolx - 03 Apr 2012 Does anyone have a method for removal/installation? Thanks! Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder - Guinney1971 - 03 Apr 2012 I'm sure that either RichH or Martin will be able to answer this very soon for you (or anyone else who's done it) Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder - Chris Williams - 09 Jul 2012 Having had to get one myself I can confirm this fits: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310393893618? ... 1423.l2649 Delphi part No: LL21520 TRW PJN 117 Bendix ????13211 I think most people attack these from underneath the car, I however removed all the fuel metering head assembly (including air inlet) this allowed access from above. Fairly straightforward remove clutch hydraulic line, remove two 11mm headed bolts, and slide up (may need to push clutch arm a bit to relieve pressure) I have seen pictures where the pin is removed from the clutch fork before lifting the slave up leaving the 'rod' left in the slave, but the above way worked for me (pictures in an upcoming mag!) bleed system, job done! A bit difficult to see in the picture but it's down below the 3 coolant pipes! Chris Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder - stunned_monkey - 09 Jul 2012 Suggest for stuff like this call Martyn Reed (Martyn on here) he works for Euro Car Parts and even after only a year of ownership i think his cross reference list is longer and more up to date even than mine! Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder - Guinney1971 - 10 Jul 2012 ooh, good to know Martin (and Martyn), next time I need summat I'll know who to contact Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder - Chris Williams - 14 Jul 2015 Seen over on DeLorean.ie New Delphi slave cylinder at only £19.98 http://www.bestpartstore.co.uk/1761599 plus shipping Chris Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder - Guinney1971 - 23 Jul 2015 thats a good price! |
