  XM V6 24valve
Posted by: Vanny - 02 Jan 2007, 10:47 - Forum: DeLorean Cars or Parts For Sale or Wanted - Replies (1)

first post from a sleeper newbie (just like to dream about D's for the time being).

Spotted an add for a XM V6 24valve, and if i remember reading correctly these are a possible option for an engine donor for a D but like hens teeth to find, so thought i'd pass it on here!

  Engine Compartment Cover parts.
Posted by: TheOriginalMrP - 31 Dec 2006, 16:07 - Forum: DeLorean Cars or Parts For Sale or Wanted - No Replies

I don't know if anyone can help me, but I'm on the scrounge for a couple or small parts.... (I'll pay for them obviously!)

In order of priority.....

No. 106083 Striker Bar
No. 106799 Cover Plate
No. 106388 RET Strip 486 LG

They are all parts removed from the lower engine compartment cover, if anyone has one of these, let me know.
Thanks, Ben. (07917 874827)

LIVE SEARCH alt to Google Earth

Google Earth is very cool, but I have been introduced to something even more impressive LIVE SEARCH http://maps.live.com/

When I checked out my own address I could identify my vehicles parked outside my house. Wonder if you can see your Delorean at yours.

Just enter your postcode and your off.

  How much road?
Posted by: Teg - 28 Dec 2006, 00:38 - Forum: Off topic talk, general chat etc - Replies (18)

I just was curious to find out, how much road a standard DeLorean does need to get up to 88 mph.

Yeah, you've guessed it I've been watching the showing of BTTF on ITV1 this afternoon :S

Would be interesting to know.

  Window moters
Posted by: Dan Howarth - 24 Dec 2006, 18:33 - Forum: 8 - Frame / Body / Interior - Replies (3)

Hi all Just looked at Delorean europe site and he has some window moters for 30 bucks each. Is that right. Am i reading it correctly. If so why are they so expensive everywhere else. Also does anyone know where i can buy a scotch birght pad from or what ever it is you can use to tart up stainles because when i smoke i go sit in the garage and i thought it might be something i could do for the 5 minutes or so. After a month i might have done the whole car.
