Shuttleworth Collection Air Shows, Bedfordshire, various dates 2024

Over the last couple of years I have been to a couple of great daytime and evening Air Shows at The Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden Aerodrome, Bedfordshire.  This is a historic private airfield in the grounds of a country house owned by the founder's family.

These tend to be great days with lots of preservation aircraft flying including their own Spitfire and Hurricane, some based there and others flying in from elsewhere.  They even fly their Avro 504 which is the oldest flying aircraft In the World!  
 
Anyway, there is usually a classic car area set aside there with various clubs in attendance, and I have been wondering about getting a DOC delegation together for one or more of the shows next year.  As a club you get an excellent on site parking area where you can enjoy the show from your car.
 
There are various dates available - just gauging interest for a trip to one of them.

Used to go there 20+yrs ago for the Classic Car meets, always a good day out.

Sounds like a great day out.  Reckon I could be up for one of those dates.

Looks quite cool. Somewhere I've never been before. I'd be up for trying that out. I'd be pretty easy about which event, but obviously closer to the time will make things clearer on calendar complications. But right now, I don't look that far ahead typically and don't have anything on during any of those weekends.
