Bricklin For Sale
#1
The owner of the Bricklin that I did a photo-shoot with a couple of years ago (and was for sale at the NEC) contacted me today asking if I could promote this car to the DeLorean owners. It didn't sell at the NEC and the owner is keen to sell. Hopefully it may appeal:

Didn't say (and wouldn't tell me what it got to at the NEC) Only that he was very disappointed in the sale and amount offered.........

Must admit i was going to go for it but he wanted way too much 24k (amount on Silverstone auction website). Unfortunately to me the car needs a lot of work to justify the money. The auctioneer at the NEC seemed to bid to himself.

Difficult to know what its worth, as I said earlier, i wasn't impressed.....nothing to do do with the condition.....but the whole package. A big heavy looking ungainly thing.

It suppose it ought to be in a museum... next to a DeLorean...

I don't dislike them, I have to say! It looks like a scaled -up hotwheels! It would certainly have a place in my fantasy garage for obscurity value.

The Malcolm Bricklin story is pretty interesting actually and there are more parallels to DMC than just the doors.

Yes indeed...I think Barrie Wills might have something to say on this subject!
