Nice looking Volvo 760 with Donor DeLorean engine and as a bonus you can use the car before needing the engine: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1986-VOLVO-760...Sw5cNYF4bl

I have just taken delivery of a header tank and clamp off one of these, for use on my car.(£25 inc postage) I have fitted one before and they work well and look good. You need to buy a green Rad Cap though.

This would be a perfect engine for Claire and Flopsy. I bet it's got no signs of block rot or anything with it being in a Volvo and probably a regularly used car all its days. Straight swap practically, no messing.

Interesting - these don't come along very often. I'd be wary of swapping that in with 160k on it though - sure it'd likely work, but for how long? I'd want to refresh it and that alone is a fair amount of work. I wouldn't discount it though - rare indeed.

2 weeks ago I've seen biturbo 3.0 V6 PRV for sale from Renault Safrane Biturbo for 1.200 euros in France. 264 Horse on 4x4 powertrain, so on two wheels should make slightly more. That is the answer... although L7X is not bad if you want to stay naturally aspirated. Clean win.

Hi Chris, just thought I would let you know there is a guy here in Perth Australia selling a brand new PRV block, no liners and also brand new cylinder heads (bare) including a new font timing cover. Its a pity shipping to your part of the world would be so expensive as it sounds like you guys need these parts as her only wants a$1000 Au for it all. not a bad price when you see what they want for them in the USA.

That is a shame yes, I would be happy to take them but as you say shipping would be more than the cost. Plus import duty etc. I have a3 or 4 good spare engines at the mo but another would not go amiss

4 Days to go, I recon it will make a around £250 max.

I bet in couple of years time we say something like 'can you remember when PRV running engines could be bought off eBay for a few hundred quid"!

In the mean time, it would need collecting, storing, stripping down etc etc.. I'm full, so It won't be me taking it on!

But someone ought to.

its been relisted due to non paying buyer, currently at £385.00 - gotta be one of the last B28E's on a D plate? Didn't they go to the B280E around then?
