Hi everyone, we are awaiting delivery of our DeLorean sometime this week or next from Guildford. We live in the New Forest, near Bournemouth and are looking forward to taking it out and about. I think theres going to be a lot of arguments with our 3 girls as to who goes first !!
Any recommendations for insurers?

Great stuff, do you mind me asking what the reg is? Like all insurance it pays to shop around (House/normal car) as it varies so much depending on age/location/Etc/Etc Any classic car insurer is a good bet to try, there are some recommendations in one of the sections on this forum. You get a good discount with Adrian Flux/Hegerty/RH Specialist Insurance for being a DOC Club member, usually more than the cost of being a club member, but like I say all classic insurance varies a lot, like all 'normal' insurance. Just try to get agreed value just in case!

Hi Andy,
If it helps I have just purchased a Delorean, and after initially insuring for a short time with the one I use for our main cars , have just changed to Adrian Flux, they gave me a very good quote. I told them I got their number from the club magazine, did not ask for membership number.

Hi Andy,
I have insured mine through Footman James and were very good over the phone with my delayed registration plates.

I think most classic car insurers are fairly good at being flexible on things like this. It helps that they will insure the car on the VIN number to start with. I'm sure it's a common thing to do.
