Gas Monkey Garage DeLorean
#1
It might be old news but did anyone see the 2 hour HotWheels episode where they build a Corvette for the HotWheel toy firm Mattel? In it was a small feature where Richard buys a DMC for $1500 and sells it  for $12000 to John Hervey,Richard predicts in a sketch how they're  going to be worth more in the future, pardon the pun-and Gas Monkey Garage will never 'do' a DeLorean......?

More of the DeLorean-check out Herveys DMC decals!

Also when the guys went to Mattel HeadQuarters, they had a nose around the toy car development offices-Richard got talking to one of the designers who had pics of the DMC on his wall, obviously had some input into the design/scale of the 1:64 diecast model

Also on the shelf behind them was a DeLorean front grill

That's Manson, awildermode over on 'Talk.

He is credited with getting the first of the modern HW cars into production and he is now an owner. He did a great talk at DCS2012 on the various steps involved
