i haven't been here for a few years, holidays etc kept me away, but a brilliant turnout of vehicles all well looked after and shining even in the overcast gloom of the Bank Holiday, the sun made an appearance later in the afternoon-people wore coats and gloves in the morning,it was that cold!
Loads of 80s & 90s cars, with the majority being 1950-60 vehicles, a few rarities including a Trabant and a rare Audi Estate with Quattro fitted ( surprised to see a diff lock switch fitted) which was immaculate and the owner had picked up very cheaply.
The DMC had a good time, attracting people even though it was parked up away in a far corner-still amazes me when folk say they've never seen one in the steel before-the mint red Metro I was parked next to was probably rarer than the DeLorean!
A good day, great talking to people, dispelling a few myths and bracing myself for the "Where's the Flux Capacitor, then?"
quips......... Love it
