Hi All,
Forgive me if this is the wrong place for me to post this question, or perhaps the topic may have been covered before.
I'm in the middle of selling my house, and am now looking for a new property, with my main issue, being the need for a suitable garage to home a DeLorean.
(I hope my other half doesn't see this)
Does anyone have the exact measurements for the car, many garages I look at are small, obviously I want to get a garage that is suitable.
Any advice would be great,
Thanks in advance
Mike

Hear you go: http://www.dmcnews.com/faq/t_dims.htm
They fit in a lot smaller garage than you would think, due to how the doors open so long as you get them tight along one side then you will 'usually' get them in most garages!

I originally rented a council garage, and it fit in there ok. Not sure how accurate this is but I believe the car is 1.7m wide and standard garages are about 1.83 m wide. Hope this helps

Or maybe I meant 170 inches wide for the car and 183 inches for the garage

Hi All,
I keep seeing DeLorean's popping up on Ebay UK from the BHCC, as soon as one has sold another is listed straight away (As Chris posted on cars for sale) this is the third one in a row, that I have seen.
Has anyone bought from this seller before? the sellers feedback seems good, but how do they keep getting hold of so many?
Also, they seem very keen to sell to the UK, seems odd to me.
As always, any advice would be great,
All the best,
Mike

I'm guessing (and it's only a guess) that they are a dealer whom is near to BHCC and is simply buying up stock knowing they can get a better price/profit by advertising them direct on Ebay.co.uk BHCC have always sold a load of DeLoreans some good some bad but usually, always with an accurate description.

Thankyou for your comments Chris.
Also, is it right that tax is 5% on car & 5% transport cost?
Regards,

Tax is correct, I guess the transport costs vary. IIRC it cost about £2k all in.
