Karl, I picked up the retrimmed interior from Lee Pattison yesterday.

For comparison, here is the top of the centre console before Lee went to work on it:

One of the seats (the seat covers were changed before we got the car so were in good condition, Lee dyed these to match the rest of the interior):

Rear trim boards/side bolsters:

The pictures really don't do them justice (I will try and remember to take some decent shots once I've got the interior back into the car). Needless to say I am completely blown away with his work.

Very highly recommended to anyone who needs any work doing to their interior.

I'll stop hijacking your topic now Smile

If you put a call into Lee and let him know what you need he will be happy to give you a price. Lee is based near Gillingham, which was about an hours journey each way from where I am.

Smile Ironically my daily driver is a sub £1000 car.

Some years ago I saw a really badly re-trimmed car at a Nottingham garage… I was truly awful, a complete waste of the £600 paid by the club member.

I don't know what Lee would charge, but at least you know it would be a good job.

In my Chrome plating days, I used to have a saying "some platers don't charge you much to wreck your bits"!…. I guess the same could be said for cheap trimmers.

It's by no means a cheap exercise to have an interior re-trimmed, but I was happy with the price, and more than happy with the results.

As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Have had another poke around my D today, which resulted in more questions..............

What should this look like below the rear window? How does the cargo net attach?.......

What is this connector for in the engine bay, the one with the green wires?..................

Should these hoses have retaining clips on them?......................................................

This new seal was put in the boot, any idea where it fits or what its for?......................

Cant remember on the second one!
Hoses are correct, it's a protective covering over the thermoplastic fuel lines.
Not sure with out looking at my car!

Blimey, that was a pain in the neck, literally!
Took the dash binnacle off today, as it needs recovering. The Owners Manual is so vague, but I got there in the end.
For those that don't know, The pod is held on by the 6 little ( 6mm? ) nuts & it is a right game.

Nasty..............
