Castrol Classic Oils now available at Opie Oils
#1
We know that many of our club members own modern vehicles that wouldn't be considered as a classic, however we also know there are a lot of forum members that own a classic car that has been restored or is an ongoing project. If this is you then you will be interested to know that Opie Oils has extended its range of Classic Oils and now stocks Castrol Classics Oils including Engine Oils, Gear Oils, Ancillaries as well a range of Clothing, Collectibles and Regalia.

Further information of the Castrol Classic products can be found on each web site listing. If you want any further information on our classic oils then please get in contact, we are more than happy to help.

Someone ordered 12 litres of automatic transmission fluid with a DeLorean Club discount code despite having a manual DMC-12! Maybe it's for the tow vehicle for the DeLorean transporter. Smile

Unfortunately no. I thought the bolt pattern on the 3.2L JDM VehiCROSS engine and the 3.5L USDM VehiCROSS engine was identical, but actually it's slightly different. The bellhousing is integral to the transmission and the transmission is very difficult to split from the transfer case while still on the car, so I had to drop them both out of both cars. The JDM transfer case is better than the USDM one (supports 2WD mode as well as 4WD-Locked and AWD) so had to split both drivelines once they were out. Since I went to all that trouble I thought might as well drain/refill the trans fluid as well. I will bolt the USDM transmission to the JDM transfer case and get them both back in the JDM car as soon as I can.
