Best place to get a replacement CPR / WUR
#1
I'm 95% sure my Control Pressure / Warmup Regulator is malfunctioning. I am going to try dismantling and cleaning it (i've had it apart twice before) as a last ditch attempt, but I don't hold out much hope. I will also try measuring the current drawn when it's operating to see if the heater is working in it.

I imagine tomorrow I will just have to bite the bullet and shell out for a new one. Does anyone have any advice on where to get them? Delorean Europe have them listed at about £180 with postage. There's a core exchange so I don't know what the turnaround time is.

Is there somewhere cheaper/more convenient to get them?

thanks,
james

Just gave him a ring, it's £225 so a bit more expensive than Ed. The turnaround is 5 days. I'll give an Ed an email and see what his turnaround is like.

Have you measured the current it's pulling? It should be around 0.5 - 0.75 of an amp.

See page 104 for expected pressure values

The electric element is almost inconsequential as the heat conducted from the engine will do the job, just over a bit longer.

I just got one from Ed, for the first time since I've owned it, the car just starts. Happy days.
