Just let you all know,

I've tentatively agreed a deal with the seller, if it doesn't sell on eBay. I will buy it and put it into stock and it will be available ( at cost price) should anyone need it.

I can't bear the thought of it being scrapped.

It is…gentleman's agreement until I come back from holiday in a weeks time, then I will collect.

I've asked him to leave as many wires and pipes attached to it as possible so we can see what goes where. I've only ever looked at the Volvo version before ( I have one of those as well, from a good friends car)

One day I will get around to stripping down Frenchy's old engine and combining the two.

My mate Mick helping out.

The new engine was one of Dave Howarth's ex Wooler-Hodec ones.
