Cheers

Cheap + Delorean = You where warned Big Grin

I have a Uroglass screen in my car certainly no complaints about quality and has the early built in antenna.

LOL very true, but then sometimes it can be, for my car I got brand new (not refurb) front calipers for £110 green stuff pads for £33 Discs about £44 and S/Steel hoses (half a set) for £25.00 so all in to completely re-do the front brakes was just over £200 so not to bad really, Then you have to buy a lump of plastic that surrounds the radiator and that costs nearly the same!

things can be cheap, if you search hard enough Big Grin ... at the end of the day i got a whole car for £4.5k, and done 16k miles, and it turns out to be in real good condition, so there's gotta be parts out there for less than retail.

so far, parts i need are,

Fuel pump,
Windscreen,
Seats recovering (the rest of the interior is mint)

Parts i have spare are:

A-post covers, trimmed in grey
complete instrument panel,
a few new, sealed and also some used bonnet, door, and hatch struts,
indicator stalks,
Various switches,
and a few boxes of other random parts i havent got through yet.

the car also came with a full set of manuals, parts diagrams etc, Fitted DMC logo cover, and doors that open fully and fit perfect Big Grin

There is a bit on fuel pumps hear: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4671
Or a new bosch on Ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1x-Bosch-ELEC ... 125wt_1328
You can sell some of the parts on Ebay to, indicator stalks should be worth good money!
I would be interested in the car cover!

I recently bought a windscreen...about £400 fitted......incidentally, the same as Dave Howarth paid ( each) when he had a batch of 10 made over a decade ago. (I bought the last of that batch as well) . Now they are readily available through normal channels.

i do have a load of 4mm polycarb left over from our rally cars Smile but looking at the structure, and knowing a fair bit about fibreglass, i recon the windscreen is structural, so polycarb wouldnt do Sad

looks like i'll have to shell out £250....

good news looking round the car today, its had a new cluch master and slave cylinder, new brake master cylinder, new disks, new front calipers, pads, brake lines Big Grin even the tyres are new, alltho the rear left has been sat flat for a while and cracked up a bit Sad ... so i guess i can stretch to a new screen Mr Green he he he
