Hi folks!
I'm starting proceedings for the Tatton Park Classic Show this August...
As with last year, this is a two day event in which participants can attend both or either of the day's. I will need to know which day(s) you plan to attend to arrange for a big enough club space. Despite the problems we had in getting our stand, we won another Club Stand award and they are keen for us to attend again.
The show has a huge auto jumble and attracts 100's of different cars and visitors every year. Tatton Park is situated just south of Manchester not far from the M6.

Hi Rich, would love to come, but I'm likely to be a one-dayer only I'm afraid due to ongoing building works at home. If you are limited on number of car spaces though, I could make it either the Sat or Sun to fit others' availability. Count it as a floating booking for now!

Just out of interest. If you do both days do you just leave your car there? Is it a
hotel or camping event?

Everyone either stays at a nearby Premier Inn or lives local to the event.
There is camping on the site, I don't know the situation as far as where you keep your car if you are camping overnight though.
All the info is on their website:

Everybody should have received your passes by now. If not, please let me know.
This year the arrival time is listed as no later than 10.30 but I suggest we aim to get there between half 9 and ten to ensure we're all set up ahead of the crowds.
See you there!!

Great show and great to meet the two Richards again. I will definitely be there next year
Rich, thank you so much for sorting my drivers window out . It now works perfectly
As for the ride home, it was interesting. It seems my car doesn't like slow moving traffic and managed to use all the water in the water bottle in less than 10 mins which sent the temp gauge into overload. This is the 2nd time in a few weeks that the water has disappeared from the water bottle. The weird thing was that when I pulled over and tried to turn off the engine it carried on going without the key in? The only way to stop the engine was to stall it.
Funnily enough this over heating has only happened since I bought a new radiator cap for the water bottle. Could this have anything to do with the overheating or is this just a coincidence ?
Apart from topping the water bottle up on every trip I ever make what else could I do to improve or resolve this issue? Any help will be appreciated

Just check your passenger side carpet underside- I had a sneaky leak from the heater matrix, and had been losing coolant over a 3-4 month period, it only gave out last week when I did a wedding!
Bolted it all back in on the Friday night before Tatton on the Saturday........ 8)
