Brake Servo indicator
#1
The brake light on the dash was on permanatly, when I dissconnected the black/orange plug that connects to the brake servo top the light goes off, took the indicator top off but brake fluid bottle is full to max. Gave the indicator a good clean but to no avail, if I push the plunger up from the bottom the small rubber diaphram goes up and light goes off so I'm assuming the float inside the indicator is U/S, where can I get a replacement from as DMC or Ed do not seem to stock this. Thanks Stephen.

Hi Steve.

I would take the old top to a scrappy and find one thats the same thread fitment. Then if you cut the plug off the donor car as well as having the cap, then you can either graft the new plug into your loom, or make an adaptor with spade connectors etc to save cutting your oem plug off. Worst case scinario, but i am sure another car shares the same top/sensor.

Took it out again, gave it a shake in a bag put it all back together and no joy, so took it back out again for one last attempt could not see anything which I had not looked at before so put back in with the intention of looking on ebay for a second hand one to come up, but now to my amazment it works fine so I don't relly know how I managed it ~ a mystery, thanks all for your posts and help ~ Stephen.
