First time for us at this event, it was hurriedly relocated from R.A.F. Woodvale (its regular venue) due to asbestos being found on site-did'nt close the base though) to Victoria Park in Southport. More of a family day out than a classic car show I thought, but good nonetheless-typical fairground type attractions with prices to match (£4 burger, £2 coffee), plenty of classics turned up to display but loads of empty spaces around the park-fuel prices effecting show cars?
The DMC was popular again, along with a Starsky&Hutch Torino and a 'Bullit' type Mustang (if the event organisers knew which cars were coming, would'nt have made sense to display these cars together?) it seemed a bit disorganised with parking display cars, park where you find a space at times it seemed.
Worth a visit, something for every one with a high standard of exhibitors vehicles. 8)
