Vehicle Show, Croydon Village, Sunday 4th July from 11.30
Thanks for calling back yesterday.
A bit of background and as promised a poster attached for information.
We are a very small village of only 250 people but we have a long history of punching well above our weight running summer events. This will be our first Vehicle Show and we are hoping to attract as many enthusiasts as possible. There will be lots to do for all the family with food, beer, stalls, games, music in the mediaeval church and with the whole event set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the village.
All of the money raised will go to the church and to our village hall. Over the past 25 years we have undertaken huge projects on the church as well as the hall and it is these summer events that enable us to keep going.
If you are able to encourage any more from your club or friends etc to turn out we would be very grateful and particularly as it is so local. Croydon lies close to Arrington which is on the A1198 about 7 miles north of Royston and 13 miles west of Cambridge.
If you would like any further information by all means e-mail or call me on 01223-208939 or 07801 434603. For planning purposes it would be very helpful to know numbers if at all possible though nobody will be turned away on the day. It should be a really good summer's day out for all the family. hoping to meet you there!
