Inner, full beam lights
#1
Does anyone know the valeo part number for the inner, full beam head lights? I think they will take a H1 type bulb. I already have valeo outer dipped beam head lights and want to renew the others too.

Thanks,
Phil.

You don't need to buy Valeo inner lights, just buy NOS ones from Texas as they're dirt, dirt cheap

There -are- inner lights that take H1's but..... why bother?!

I have a couple of secondhand perfect condition lights if you want them for the cost of postage

They are standard 4x6" US style lights and are used on some stuff over here, but I can pretty much guarantee you won't get a entire light unit for $7...

I remember Andy Westerman on his trip through the states, had a chipped or broken light and was quite worried about not getting another light the exact same.
Guess where he got the exact replacement?

WALLMART !

I can't remember the exact details, but they're a fairly common light fitting. Even used on some busses!

cheers for the info guys.
Only thing is, the old sealed beam units are always a yellowish halogen light, where as my dipped beam lights will soon be nice pure white bright xenons! They wont match up at all when the full beam is on!

They're generic off the shelf units in the US - Xenon is available but TBH you won't be able to tell the difference. They're chuffing bright and you have 4 of them where most cars only have 2.

To be honest now Ed has his new online store up and running i find it cheaper to order via him, pretty much has what texas has with it being same company but without the huge postage and customs charges on top

I did the maths based on Ed's prices some time ago and it was cheaper to order direct. Ed's prices already have the tax paid, but you still pay it, and VAT is more in NL. I also got tired of ordering from Ed expecting to get a genuine part and being sent something generic/inferior for the same price.
