Hi Email received requesting a car for a weekend. Possibility of weekend accomodation to be provided, cost's Etc.


I'm a publishing director at Haymarket Consumer Media. You might know our company for Autocar, Autosport, What Car?, Classic & Sportscar, F1 Racing and others. In fact I'm pretty sure the club has helped out in times gone by with features.

My market is caravans and motorhomes, so why the interest in De Lorean you might think? Well, one of the largest clubs in the UK, the Camping and Caravanning Club hosts an annual rally each year for its members to get together and socialise for a long weekend. It's a huge event with around 2,000 of its 250,000 members or so attending. This year it is at Blenheim Palace, and is themed around time travel. We are taking a stand, and thought it would be terrific to have a De Lorean as part of our display.

So we're looking for a willing member of your club who might be happy for it to be on our stand. The dates are August 20 - 24, and of course we'd be happy to contribute towards costs, offer some benefit-in-kind, and of course some coverage in our magazines Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome, and possibly the magazine of the Camping and Caravanning Club as well.
