Hello deLorean enthusiasts!
Here is this year's information about the Tewin Classics Show, taking place on Sunday 23 August at Upper Green, Tewin, AL6 0LY, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We are just two miles from j6 of A1(M), so I hope we may be of interest for your members around this area and the Great North Road! I have attached a poster and an entry form, printable in good definition at A5 size or larger. Club entries can be made all on one form if you wish, club tents and banners are welcome.
This is our third year and already we have a reputation as a very enjoyable village event, and a growing list of 'regulars'. This year we are requesting a pre-registration contribution of £2 per vehicle, to include a souvenir badge. There will be an increased range of interesting stalls and we have booked some Morris Dancers and some majorettes. Stall opportunities are on offer at £5 and £10 for stalls that fit the style we are looking for - part craft show, part farmers' market type of thing!
There will be refreshments in the pavilion, plus a classic ice cream van, and a burger van provided by Roastaholics. Also, The Plume of Feathers is nearby, with a variety of sustenance, and The Rose & Crown is a convenient walk. The Tewin Stores will be open (at 18 Hertford Road AL6 0JY) as usual for the morning only.
Last year, despite a wet start to the day, it brightened up a lot and we had 84 cars on display!
