Club liability insurance
#1
What constitutes a club event to be covered by the liability insurance?

I atteneded the Fleetwood Tram Festival a couple of years ago by myselg, and with Scott last year. This year there should be at least 4 cars in attendance... how many need to attend to be an "event", or is the criteria something different?

On a side note, I may be asking for a bunch of the flyers to hand out to deflect some of the masses, we were swamped last year Smile

Hi, I will get Claire to reply to the insurance bit, as she holds the policy details, My guess is that it has to be a DOC organised event but I may be wrong. I will post you a batch of the leaflets up later in the week if thats OK.

I'll have a read of the policy and find out - I think it basically covers us for an event that
is organised by the DOC or that the DOC is attending, whereby members of the public are
going to be in the same 'area' as the club stand itself.

I will read it through tho and let you know the specifics.

If you need flyers quicker then Chris can get them out, let me know.

I did post a batch up to Scott, but all well and good if you can spread the DOC-UK word
to the masses too Big Grin
