Just passed MOT, but need some advice
#1
I have just got back from having mine MOT'd, went straight though no problem Big Grin

However, the emissions showed the CO at 4%, so I need to lean it off slightly. They did the emissions test with the engine idling though, is this how the CO is usually read?

Also, I have discovered that going round corner really fast sometimes makes the engine splutter for a second, this is with the fuel gauge reading half full, its as if the fuel is sloshing over too far in the tank for a second, also recently I have noticed if the fuel light comes on, your about to konk out any second! could it be the fuel tank baffel has come loose inside the tank?

I seem to recall there was something different about the baffle in DGS's tank, but cant
remember for the life of me what it was.

Its possible that fuel is sloshing around and therefore giving a false reading.

You might need to go 'tank diving' to make sure all is well in your fuel tank.

The other month I went in there when I changed the check valve and all was well then :? Oh well a job for the winter I think, I'll just keep the tank topped up for now
