I think it goes on build date. Mine always has and that arrived in '04. No official C02 ratings before that so no 'banding'.

The PLG rate of tax, which applies to DeLoreans has changed as follows:

12 months duty £185.00

6 months duty £101.75

Mind you, our MD's Mercedes ML420CDi has just gone up to £400 for a year!
