Don't let Nick T see the photo of the scotch locks
Have you soldered and sealed with heat shrink? If not, what approach have you taken?

Yep its soldered and heat shrinked now
The radio wiring was the worst, and the scotchlocks were off the alarm system. I was going to just do the radio and rewire the alarm in the future, but ended up doing the lot straight away as there were various worrying exposed wires and general nasty scotchlockness
