DGS 803X History
#1
Hi All,

As of today DGS is officially my car Big Grin I picked up a folder full of receipts and history from jonathan this evening. Looking through it would appear it was registered new in california and then in 1986 it was registered in texas, but I found a reciept from 1985 for a 170mph speedo in the name of Captain Keneth Fry who lived in Oregon. I was wondering if any members know any more about its history and can explain a bit more for me?

Thanks
Dan.

Capt. Kenneth Fry sounds familiar.

Speak with Tyson Clark - the car he bought from us (Hana) a while back had a load of original paperwork - and I'm pretty sure Capt. Fry was the original owner of that car too.

Used to get the car serviced in California.

How about this little nugget - the 170mph speedo that is now in DGS used to be in Hana. Dave Woodyard swapped them over. Looks like he took the receipt for DGS's file too. The odometer tumblers were swapped between the two speedos.
