If anyone's interested in my local paper there's a Volvo 760 Gle estate 2.8 v6.Asking price,just £100.
The car's located in Cullompton Devon just outside of Exeter.
Would be great for anyone wanting a stage 2 conversion.
If anyone is interested I can get you the phone number.
Cheers

What year is it? I think it has to be a pre 1985 model to have the right engine for the DeLorean.
God if only Devon wasnt so far away........ :?

I stand to be corrected, but I 'think' the only bits you can use are the domed pistons/liners. The rest is all different.
Claire. going over to Sandy on Sat to pick up some bits for Suzy's 75, so I will call in to the Volvo breakers at the same time. If I have any joy I will give you a bell while I am there.

Just to add extra info; I have a Volvo 760. It's an 86 model but I have to tell people that it is an 85 in order to get the right parts. They changed the engines from a B28 to a B280 late 85.
If you open the bonnet it's obvious though as the Delorean, <86 760 V6 both have the two distinctive flat rectangular inlet manifolds and the >86 760 has an inlet manifold that looks more traditional with 6 curved tubes on top of the engine.
