Hi all, an update as promised!

Bookings are to be made through the Rusland Pool Hotel, Ulverston, Cumbria for the DeLorean Owners Club weekend of 20-22 September 2024.

We are to be guests of honour at the Lakeland Motor Museum,

for a Saturday morning and lunch, before moving on to Coniston and undertaking a Lake District convoy drive on an exciting route which is being drafted.

We will then return to the Hotel for the evening and to partake of the hotel restaurant and bar.  

On Sunday we will be heading for a classic lake district steamer tour before all heading our separate ways home.

Hi Chris, apologies for the slow response. Ive had some access issues.

Please tell them you're booking in for the DeLorean event but unfortunately because i was unable to guarantee a certain number of rooms, they weren't able to offer a discount.

Hi all,
Today is thr day and some attendees are already en-route!

We realise that there will be members who may just wish to join us for part of the weekend. If so, you are more than welcome! Here in brief is our itinerary - see you all soon!

Friday 20th Sept: Arrive Rusland Pool Hotel, LA12 8AA. ? Evening meal from 19:00. Note for late arrivals - kitchens close at 2015.

Saturday 21st (AM)

Lakeland motor museum, where we will have organised parking and access to the museum facilities. ??. See a real life Delorean, as well as a tribute to Malcolm ad Donald Campbells world speed record cars and boats.

Lunch at museum Cafe Ambio

Saturday PM. Drive to the Ruskin Museum, Coniston, featuring the genuine restored Bluebird world speed record boat and the life of Donald Campbell CBE.

Saturday evening: Meal at Rusland Pool Hotel, bar until late ?

Sunday 22nd Morning : Scenic Drive along Windermere to Ullswater over the famous Kirkstone Pass ?

Late morning, Exclusive secure parking at Glenridding, Ullswater. Steamer boat trip, return to Pooley Bridge.⛴️

Late lunch/ early dinner in Glenridding before departure.

The hotel is now fully booked although alternative accommodation may be available nearby if you would still like to join us!
