Sixty grand!!!!!!!!!!!
I recognise the registration number. Interesting nattering with some USA owners on Facebook, it seems prices may have peaked and are actually coming down over there.....

Without looking up the history on this I'm not sure when it was converted and by who (ChrisP one for you) !! however I think it's priced about right, in-fact depending on who converted it might be a bit low.

There are/were at least 3 WH RHD black/5 speed conversions in N Ireland so this could be one of them though the number plate does not tie up with any I had. But that is easily changed!

I've seen this car at Eurofest 2011 and it is definitely a Wooler Hodec conversion.

Its almost certainly "right", i've know of the car for many years....but there are one or two things that are not normal in WH cars...but they could have been later changed......over the years.
The most obvious examples are the continued existance of the carbon canister in the engine bay and the American spec rear lights. I'm not so sure that the AXi reg number adds anything, in this particular case. The RHD's are special enough, it will always be OGH to me (I do think the AXI numbers look great on imported USA cars.... but they have no known previous history in the UK) IMO 60K is a very fair price.

I think it looks pretty much consistent with how it looked back in 1984 when Richard Gadeselli owned it:
As far as I know VIN 12178 never had the Gerry Castle conversion on the tail lights, front repeaters or side marker lenses. Those early photos of it in Performance Car magazine are a great historical document of how the Wooler-Hodec cars would have looked when they were first sold at auction. There are a few other 121XX cars like this one that also have the carbon canister. I agree Chris, it will always be OGH to me too. That's interesting to hear Claire. I wonder if we'll see a similar trend here in the UK and Europe? Good news for the true enthusiasts if it keeps the speculators away.

Blimey Phil, long time no see, how are you?
I seem to remember 'OGH', maybe at 2001/06 Eurofests?

Here is a video inspection of the car, it requires a little tidying up but overall it appears to be a decent car.

Errrm.... lots of bits and bobs need doing....you might have thought with that low mileage it would looked better. It will doubtless make a good car eventually....but not a "walk in the park".

It will doubtless make a good car eventually....but not a "walk in the park". Price reflective of its current condition then, it would seem. The condition is surprising given the low mileage. Perhaps the angle drive failed for a period of time and was later replaced? Although the narrator in the video keeps saying replacement parts are "all available", it's going to be very difficult to find a replacement rear armrest trim in the correct early 2-piece style, especially as that's the driver's side on a LHD car. That would probably have to be a repair and re-trim job. Thankfully the RHD-specific trim pieces all look to be intact.
