It seems James RG's newoldbits.co.uk site is down....
Does anyone know where I could get a set of these black side strips now? Would be best if it's matt finish rather than gloss.
Kind Regards,

Hiya John,
My thick side stripe came from James RG, but I've heard that a full textured one is available in the US now - poss from PJ Grady????? (Darren/Chris, can you confirm this?)
My side stripe will have to come off when I (eventually) take Flopsy down to have Chris do the bodywork, so I will need to find a replacement. I'm tempted to replace it with a textured one so that it looks more like the original type.
Unfortunately I dont get sick pay at work, so being signed off for 4 weeks following the accident means I cant go splashing out on 'luxuries' like Flopsy's bodywork at the moment.
Let us know how you get on?

janvdwouw Wrote:Quite some time ago someone sent me the files to have these side stripes cut.
Unfortunately I can't remember who it was (not neccesarily
from here) and I've lost the files in an HDD-crash...
Is there anyone on here who has these files and is willing to emeail them to me?
I'm thinking about re-modeling the stripe to fit on my Aygo, to still
have a link with DeLoreans even if I don't own one anymore...
Thanks,
Is it a PDF File? I think I recall somewhere that allow people to download this too! (that's a few years ago though, you recall my memory!)
If anyone got it, PM me too please!

And yes, it was at least 2 years ago; on my previous computer
I FOUND IT!!

P.S. *.PLT is an AutoCADPlot file.

Hi,
Yes I just had them made by a local sign writer, the other day I found my last set and chucked them on eBay with no reserve so you could get a bargain. They are a matt finish, not gloss.
you can normally get a sign writer to do them for about £60-£80 for a one off. I can still get them done if somone really wants a set.
I ditched the NewOldBits site as it cost too much to keep going and regrettably i didn't have the time, partly the reason my car's still not back together.... roll on summer 2007, we can do it!
Regards
James

Hi James,
did you ever get any further with headlamp/rear lamp covers?
I've still got your door switch stickers to fit though........I'll get around to it..........
Glad to hear that 'KUC' may be making a re-appearance this year - wasnt the 501 Filming in May '03 the last time she saw the light of day?
Cheers,

AWESOME, THANX a bunch!
These are exactly the files I meant...
Went into the Spam-box BTW
How can they treat DeLorean stuff as Spam!?
Anyway, glad you got what you need

Now "all I have to do" is redesign the stripe to fit my Aygo
Not going to be easy though, as the Aygo has no rubstrips at all...
Can you redesign one for the old shape Yaris?
I got rubstrips BTW
