bjbrownie Wrote:I got mine today-well impressed with the quality and scale of the DeLorean story told from a good point of view, with tales from the people who mattered in this cars history, I never knew there would be so many superb pics from the cars development and construction, it's certainly given me a better insight into my car!
Thanks for this Chris & Andy, it's a positive take on an automotive icon, brilliant.
Aha! That's my car Tara McCrea is sitting in (bottom picture).
It was taken at a car show in Derry, N Ireland a couple of years ago.

Got mine Yesterday afternoon.... Amazing Quality and a huge effort gone into it.
Perfect timing as it is a very welcome arrival on a rainy weekend here in Wales.

Received mine yesterday. Looks great, and since i'm sick at the moment I intend to curl up in bed and read it tonight. Though if you ever do a second run, you spelled my surname wrong

Got my copy on Friday and been enjoying the pics all weekend. And you spelt my father's name correctly on each of the three times he is mentioned (although when he posed for that pic on p177 back in 1981, if he'd known it was going to appear in a book 34 years later I like to think he'd have had a hair cut. And worn a suit that fitted. And found a better shirt). Anyway, top work Chris and Andrew.

Ironic really, this seller has bought 5 off Amazon up to now and is making more money out of them than I am! We too will be putting some on eBay soon.
I do have a small stock of 'signed in Belfast' collectors editions, that we were selling at the UFTM. Currently we will sell them at £75 plus £10 postage within the UK, to forum members.
The weight of books I took to Belfast was such that I couldn't fit them in the DeLorean, so I had a Sportarge full instead.
They sold very well at the event and it was interesting to see the likes of James Espey, Steve Wynn, Ken Kosalec, Rob Grady, Ronald Ferguson, etc etc, wondering if it was going to push their suitcases over the airlines weight limit!
Anyone interested is adding a 'Belfast book" to their collection , contact me direct.

For any of our American readers/ residents……the USA books have finally arrived at DMCH after being stuck at the west-coast docks 'go-slow' for a month!
DMCH are already fulfilling pre-orders, but with only 500 available, if I were an American fan, i'd get my order in quick if you have not already done so.
I still have stocks of the "BELFAST signed" ones which I will be taking to Lotus in Aug. They will also be available for our continental attendee's.
More details on the Lotus event via Chris W in the next few days. (The photo is from DMCH's new buying guide.)
Check out our feedback on Amazon.
