Yeh they registered on the forum fairly recently. IIRC the showings were down in South London somewhere so I guess Steve W has probably got the job.

He chose to be a bottom to the wrong person! I'm also helping two Mikes with their time machine builds and will add them to the list when they're ready! I just enjoy being involved still so happy to help the good guys where I can and come to some D meets still.

I would love to go to this event. I have been to some of their others and they are great but quite pricey. IIRC this one was over £50 but at least this time you know what you are seeing rather than buying without any knowledge apart from clues. A friend is going so will try to get some report from him. Apparently people will be told to dress in eitger 80's or 50's clothing. So looks like it will be a big event.

What's important here, is that a valued club member got the gig because they deserved it in every way. He who shall not be named will have tears on the pillow as his lies didn't work this time around.

Yes, it will be, I'm sure a very good event. From the plans I have seen and the car they will be using it will be a very well laid on production.

A guy i know is going to this, he's under orders to get as many pics as he can ... if he can..!!
15 Jul 2014, 16:28
I'm going to this, and intend to sneak as many pictures as I can Though I'll be honest in saying I regret purchasing the tickets after finding out that you are assigned roles and directed on exactly what costume type to wear and which time-zone you are in.

I feel sooooo sorry for those fans, I really do. One person planned his holiday so that it was his left day as a special one, and got told just a few hours before. I think I also read that fans weren't allowed to take phones so couldn't check on updates either. Ouch..
That aside, the rest of the shows look like they're going to be amazing. Very unfortunate for the initial bunch though

Terrible news for 84,000 folk! Can that be right…84,000? All that money taken already….I wonder if anyone will get a refund!
Just imagine all the expenses folk have had…..travel arrangements…hotels etc… Its barely believable! .
