Original DeLorean Information Kit - Press Kit
#1
Hi All,

Thought I'd share this, a family friend who used to be in the car biz sent me a DMC Information Kit, which she says was given out to press around the launch. Just wondering if someone could tell me any more about it.
Here are some pics I just took of all the documents inside.

Comprises of:
Cardboard folder.
4 photos with attached descriptions of the car.
A folding leaflet with the history of JZD, the car spec and sales text.
Documents with background of JZD, Donald Lander, Eugene Cafiero.
Documents describing all aspects of the car's spec.
Documents titled "DeLorean News" DeLorean comes to Motofair - The DeLorean makes it's London Debut.
Documents titled Product Description and Company Profile.

Hi Ollie,

Yes they were exactly what it says on the tin…...press packs, they must have been produced in some quantity, as they turn up from time to time. Some have a different photo mix. I have several of them.

They all feature the brilliant photo's from the "Esler Crawford" achieve, the Belfast photographer who recorded the entire building of the car. I purchased his whole archive and rights to the pictures, over a decade ago (he too was owed money by the factory) .

These pictures form the backbone of our new book, 'DeLorean, Celebrating the Impossible', due out later this year. A couple of prototype copies will be on display at Dorset .

Getting very excited about it all now! Big Grin
