DeLorean project cars/candidates for ground-up restoration available. Not for the faint of heart, I might add!
I don't want to sound discouraging, but you need to know what you're getting yourself into. I don't want to see any of you disappointed.
So if you're think you're man/woman enough up to do the task of restoring and breathing life into another DeLorean, PM me!
I need to get my costs covered, other than that, I'm not out to make any money on the cars, my greatest wish would be to see them back on the road again. Remember they were all shipped to Europe all the way from the US. If I can't get my costs covered, I'll simply keep them and restore them myself in due course.
Best wishes

Hi Stian, Do you have any more information on the cars?
Rough prices and pictures of each one?
Maybe upload pictures of each one to facebook then link them to here?
Thanks

I will have to visit the warehouse where the cars are located, and won't have many photos of the cars until summer.
Price-wise, they're more or less complete, a few parts or a panel missing, also, non-runners and the interiors need replacing and electrical gone through obviously. In general, prices from 7000 pounds and upwards. Of these, around 2000 pounds are for the shipping from US to Norway incl. import VAT tax. No, I won't ship cars to the UK, you will have to come over here with a trailer, pick up and drive home :-)

on facebook you can have albums, he could make an album for each car with pictures in, then put a link to each album with the vin of each car. If he puts it to public settings, you can view the pictures even if you dont have facebook.

I'm up for a road trip. Let's get a consortium together and let's get over there and bring a car back. Who's up for it
??? The trip alone would be great fun

Patience ;-)
Photos will follow, I'm just very busy at the moment, building myself a new DeLorean garage!
No sales until summer. And if you can't wait, you can send me an e-mail and I'll see if I can dig up some of the US photos.
A gentleman here asked about parts, not so much parts, but two of the VINs are REALLY project cars = glassfibre underbody only.
A gentleman here asked why so many DeLoreans. My answer is: "Why not?" lol It's called DeLorean Fever!
Seriously, if Dunmurry produced 10,000 cars, I think at least 5000 of them should be in Europe ;-)
Btw - you will have fun driving on Norwegian roads, almost like driving the test track in Dunmurry! ;-)
Best wishes

Btw - is it easy to get a car registered in the UK when it has got a US salvage title (fire)?

salvage title means its for parts only, so cant be registered in the UK unless it has single vehicle approval.... which at the moment is going through big changes.
Also any vehicle that is imported has to be basically standard to get regsitered now, or it will need single vehicle aproval.
